Horace "Hod" Palmer — Taylor Palmer Branch Manager
Hod owned and operated the Taylor Palmer Agency for many years after assuming ownership from his father in the 1970s. After selling the agency in 2003 to Paige & Campbell, he enrolled in culinary school in New York City and worked in a number of restaurants in the New York region. In 2006, Hod opened "Boldos," a deli, store and restaurant, in Fairlee, Vermont. Late in 2007, Hod decided to shut down that operation and join Paige & Campbell to manage the Taylor Palmer Agency location. He still maintains the food and cooking blog Boldo's thoughts on Food. Professionally, Hod served for many years on the Workers Compensation Appeals board and was past president of Vermont Insurance Agents Association.
